Prof. Walter Zeh was born in Vienna and graduated from Vienna University of Music, and his major is opera. He had engaged in one of the three world famous opera, Vienna State Opera, for 32 years and had held the post of president of the Choir of Vienna State Opera House for 12 years. He participated in almost all of the grand opera performance of Vienna State Opera in the last few decades, and harmoniously cooperated with Herbert von Karajan, Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, and many influential world famous singers. As a soloist, he also played many important roles in a lot of major performances of opera houses all over the world, such as Bavarian State Opera in Munich, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Milan Opera, the Gran Teatro del Liceu in Barcelona, the Paris Opera House, Theatre des Champs Elysees, Salzburg Art Festival, Salzburg Easter Music Festival, opera houses in Japan etc. He was active year in year out at home and abroad in music and choral stage, and cooperated with internationally renowned conductor masters to release many CD recordings. 

During his term of Vienna State Opera, he threw his into vocal ensembles and choir and he founded several ensembles, such as men three and four-song (performances in the week before Christmas in Austria and Israel annually), Sound of Peace Choir (established in November 2002 in Burgtheater ), Concordia vocal Ensemble (established in June 2003 in serenade well-known Kreuzenstein). He was the founder and artistic director of famous Philharmonia Choir Vienna. In 2002 the Philharmonia Choir Vienna, as the top opera choir, was founded on an initiative of Gerard Mortier. The choir cooperated with international conductors such as, Claudio Abbado, Marc Minkowski, Kent Nagano, Thomas Hengelbrock, Christian Thielemann, Riccardo Muti etc., in opera and concert. In addition, he is professor of many master classes and often attends the international meeting and delivers speeches in those meetings.
