Born in Upper Austria, Erasmus Baumgartner received his first vocal training with the Florian Boys' Choir

1995 Studied and sang at the Anton Bruckner Private University with Prof Trabesinger
2002 graduation with good result
Major study of conducting at the Bruckner Conservatory
2003 - 2010 teaching at a federal upper level secondary school in the subjects of voice training and choir
2007 Founding of the Academy Singers choir, who received several international awards
2007 studied instrumental and vocal pedagogy at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg with Prof Dr Albert Hartinger

2009 - 2012 director of joint projects of the Juvenis Choir and the Niederbayrische Philharmonie
Since 2010 voice trainer with the Vienna Boys' Choir
Since 2012 assistant to Johannes Mertl at the Vienna State Opera
Since 2013 deputy artistic director of the Vienna Boys' Choir
Participation as a singer at the Salzburg Festival under the direction of Franz Welser Möst Seiji Ozawa and Herbert von Karajan
